infinite God infinite good

do you believe
an omnipotent
omniscient
perfect God
is not
always
eternally
experiencing
what you
are experiencing?

do you
believe
an infinite God
does not have
infinite time
infinite patience
to be
thoroughly aware
of every
iota
of
your
existence?

why love
any god
who isn’t
perfectly infinite
infinitely perfect?

do you believe
such a God
sits there
weighing souls
like grains
of sand
punishing
this one
eternally
for a minor
trespass
forgiving
that one
a multitude
of atrocities
because
they said
the magic word?

“the kingdom
of God
is at hand”
that means
it is
already
HERE! 
right
NOW! 

no pie
in the sky
by and by
but a just
and righteous life
this instant

what have we
to fear?

“for God
so loved
the world
that He sent
His son
and whoever
believes
in him
shall not perish
but have life
eternal

“God
did not send
his son
to condemn us
but
to save us”

we are not here
to perish
we are here
to LIVE! 
and not
just live
but live
ABUNDANTLY

there is
no contradiction
between
the life abundant
and
the condemnation
of greed
and wealth
and material possessions

“fool!  
what does it profit you
to gain the whole world
you lose
your soul?
you cannot
serve two masters
you will either
despise the one
or curse
the other”

if you
care only
for your ease
your pleasure
your power
your position
your privilege
you
as shutting
yourself
out of
the kingdom
you must
see yourself
in others
and recognize
them in you
to be
just and righteous
