Observations On A Super Nova
I saw a world burning Too late to save
Anyone or anything
An ephemeral existence
Already gone up in smoke
Lives and love, all long lost
A trillion tragedies
None of them recorded
Who were they?
What were they?
What did they dream of?
To what did they aspire?
It matters not
They’re gone now
And we, arriving too late
Can only ponder their pyre
