“First off, he’s not really a sheik.  He’s just Leon Skum, a gazillionaire who bought the title.  More importantly, despite being a sheik he did nothing for the people, refusing to make a lasting peace with our enemies so our children could grow without fear of death and dismemberment, keeping things constantly stirred up so he could rule through fear and hate, no matter how many lives it cost.  Fie on him.  Let him spend the rest of his life believing he’s a poor, powerless beggar boy living off scraps.”

“But how could you hex him?  You’re a veterinarian!”

“I can have a hobby.”
