this is the terrible truth about ghosts (poem)
if they hate you
they try to keep you
alive
they don’t want you dead
death is peaceful
no want
no fear
everything
everyone
is transparent
if you’re still alive
you’re miserable
you suffer
you agonize
you fear
you suspect
you worry
and even if
you’re happy
all that
can vanish
in the blink
of
an
eye
death is bliss
an eternity
graceful
gracious
boredom-free bliss
and those
whom you’ve pissed off
who went on to
the great beyond
are going
to make you
sweat out
a few more
decades
before you
can enjoy it
