theology poem

enough people
have died
can we please
just cut
each other
some slack?
can we just
stop jockeying
for position
and instead say
“here I am”
“there you are”
let’s just
treat each other
with simple
common  courtesy?

it’s all
bullshit
if we won’t
love each other
