Writing Report February 2, 2019

So where we at? as my father would have said…

The Goal:
Write a new short story every week for 2019.

January Benchmarks:
Story #1 is completed, needs dialog polish and backstory enhancing. Should be ready to circulate soon.

Story #2 is completed and already making the rounds.

Story #3 is blocked out…which in this case means I have the opening written, know my ending, and just need to figure out the stuff in the middle.  (I’ve got a nasty suspicion this is going to turn into one of those stories where I think 3-3.5K words will do the trick and the next thing I know I’m staring down the barrel of 7-8K words.)

Story #4 is blocked out, too, only in this case it means I have a beat outline and just need to write it out.

I need to get busy this weekend…
